Anyone heard of a fuel pump AND the ECU dying simultaneously in a
subaru 2.5l engine?
Could a malfunctioning ECU somehow overdrive the fuel pump and burn it
out?
Conversely, could a bad fuel pump electrically damage the ECU?
Is it more likely that my mechanics blew the ECU while attempting to
diagnose the no-start?
Thanks!

After draining the coolant out of a 2002 wrx, the new coolant/water mix is
going down very slowly, probably because the filler reservoir is connected
to the radiator via a very thin tube.
Now I fill the reservoir, wait a few minutes while the air burbs out of the
line and the coolant goes into the radiator, then fill the reservoir again.
At this rate, it could take days to put in 2 gallons.
Any ideas on how to make it go down faster? If there is another hole
somewhere on the radiator that I can open to let the air out, other than the
drain valve...

Have overheating problem. Car is 4 WD, 5 Spd. No airconditioning. Car has two
fans. Electric on right side which works. And another electric tgat dies not.
My mechanic says that not problem in that fan on that side is only for cars
with air conditioning. That does not make sense to me, but can't find any
info about it when WEB searching. Does anybody have any idar where I could
go for answer?

I have 2 Garmins, and both seem to lose connectivity to the satellite
a lot in the Subaru.
Put them in my other cars, and no issues. I bought an antenna that
runs out to the roof, and helps somewhat.
Thought maybe it was the radar detector interfering, but I don't think
it is that, since uplugging it and still have issues...
Thanks

98 Outback w/250K miles... runs excellent, except at slow speed, sharp
turn particularly in reverse - differential binds - feels like you put
on brakes, have to push gas to continue back, does it some forward.
Fuse installed in FWD box... didn

I have a 2005 Subaru Forester all wheel drive that I bought used so I
have no idea if this is normal or not. After driving for a while, and
I park the car, when I first start to drive again and turn the
steering wheel it feels like the front tires are dragging, it does it
sometimes when I turn a cornor at slow speed after you start to drive
too, but stops after you drive for a while. Is this normal for all
wheel drive?

My 98 Legacy GT AWD has a front end shake at 65MPH. I balanced the
wheels and it made no difference. Any suggestions?
