when they talk about "a 500watt pA?"
I'm guessing its not the total power of the cabs?
Is it the total power of the amps? the most powerful amp?
Many thanks in advance

You seem to keep missing this post Arny. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to
keep reposting it until you get enough guts to answer it. You really are a
chickenshit coward and every time you ignore this you prove it to everyone.

Found this while looking through google. Nearly pissed my pants reading it.
Sooooooooooo true. Dates from 2002 so it is obvious Arny has been pissing
people off for a very long time.

I want to thank Poster and friend Tim Parry for helping me resolve my
computer issues
My thinkpad was no longer serviceable and Tim mentioned he had a Pavillion
as a spare
he sold me this excellent computer at below market value and helpedme
understand its features
in short getting me back in busines after almost 2 weeks of jerking around
with a failing (now failed) thinkpad
On top of that I was given a tourof the broadcast facility he is head
engineer at
I have complete respect for tims abilities with complicated, mission
critical systems
the racks and racks of custom gear/installition was truely impressive
Thank You Tim
George

I just took the plunge and bought a wireless IEM system (Shure PSM400)
with SCL-5 earphones. Having tried them out a bit in my practice
room, I'm now wondering how folks usually wear them so as to minimize
pulling on the wires while playing guitar.
What I've been doing is putting the plugs in my ear canal and bending
the wires over the top of my ears so the wire runs down my back. I
then plug it into the beltpack. I find that when I put my guitar
strap on, it's tricky to keep it from pulling on the wires, which is
uncomfortable on my ears and, in a worse case, could threaten to pull
the plugs out. Should I be running the wire under my shirt? Are
there other tricks people use to ensure comfort and security?
Thanks

Hello,
I'm not impressed with situation when 40 ch 300' snake trunk is double
size of LS9/32, so I'm thinking of going for digital transport. Good
thing is my amp racks already accept CobraNet (QSC Basis 922az
management). But I've heard that people are more impresed with
Ethersound. Does anybody have some experience with compatibility and
stability issues of either transport platforms? I was thining to
install one EtherSound card to handle 32 inputs and one CobraNet card
for 16 outputs. And then, of course, I'd be happy to control preamps
from console. What would be best/most stable option to arrange this
tranport? What brands / manufacturers are recommended, incl. any
auxilarry equipment i.e. network switches, cables, etc.?
Any help would be highly appreciated, I mean large quantity of
alcoholic beverages if you manage to be somewhere arround :)

using a Mackie CFX mixer that only has two monitor sends. Since we are using
the internal effects on the mixer, we are not using the EFX sends. The
manual says not to use the EFX send as a monitor send because it's post
fader.
But we need another monitor mix, so what problems will I have if I try to
use the EFX send as another monitor feed? Are there any other inexpensive
alternatives. Not ready to buy another board yet.
Thanks,
Dale
