  Quasi-OT - lighting books

Can anyone recommend books on lighting for a novice user dealing with both
fixed and moving heads? Sort of a Yamaha book for lampies?

Cheers,

Phildo

Ever feel as though you've been caugth between a CrossFire - Then watch this 9
minute film clip and see if it's something that you would vote for to go to
Hollywwod.
Brother Lew Acosta and the video "Caught in the CrossFire" has now been entered
into the top 25 videos of the Famecast shortfilm category competition.
Eventhough it is in the top 25 out of over 125 in his category there were more
than 2,000 entries in 13 categories. Caught in the CrossFire is the story of a
modern day Prodigal Son named Leon who's story is blended with tracks from
Brother Lew's new riveting Album "Thug Life R.I.P." as well as the gifted voice
of the main character. Many that have voted have left comments on the site that
reflects the type of outreach that this short film is causing in the secular
realm. Eventhough we have to continuously shoot more footage as this competition
continues, the public only see the same video. We encourage you to drop by
www.famecast.com/brotherlew and see the short 9 minute clip, vote for it, leave
a comment or become a fan and get prizes. This 3rd round for the top 10 ends by
saturday July 7th at 12 noon.. So please invite as many friends that may be
interested, and then again, you won't know if they're interested unless you tell
them. The top 5 automatically get included into the LA SHorts Film festival that
will be seen by tens of thousands. To see more footage of the video go to
www.BrotherLew.com and check under BrotherLewTV on YouTube. ...

Not 6 years ago they weren't, or was it seven.

  Cubase issue

Author: Joe Huffuff
Date: Jun 24, 2007 17:49

Cubase SX was working fine.

Came back from vacation. Now all my bookmarks and old email are gone.

But the real issue is that nothing I record in Cubase seems to make a wave.

I can see the sound levels before I start a project, but once I click on
a project, the ability to record has gone.

I think this might have something to do with sample rate.

There are many kinds of MPEG video. Some of them
(e.g. the commercial HD varieties) are designed to be
edited. Consumer MPEG video is considered "editable"
by the same people who produce music in MP3.
