You should be able to see the oil filter when you pull off the side
covers on both sides of the engine if it is a 4 cycle engine. You
should see a twist on oil filter screwed to the side of the engine if
it is a 4-cycle engine. If it is a 2 cycle engine you have oil
injection and should have an oil fill cap on the hood above the engine
and does not have an oil filter.
