We know some group of humans were almost our size but had puny, almost
chimp sized brains. We know a group of chimps could walk like us. If
a chimp can walk like us how is that not transitional? We even have a
well known living descendent of a transitional in the platypus.
'Macro'evolution is not a fantasy but rather a fact of nature. If God
created nature then He is not afraid of 'macro'evolution, rather He
created 'macro'evolution. We don't need to be anti evolution or anti
science. That would mean that _two_ of the conflicting creation
stories in Genesis are metaphors. It might make the pre-Abraham
stories metaphor as well but that's about it. There's nothing to fear
so why fight it?
