What kind of aircraft? Two goats might be enough to fix a 727,
or even a 737 probably, but a 747? I think they should have erred on
the side of caution. That's just my opinion of course, but there it
is.

Well, there's no way that two goats are enough to appease the
"gods" of aerodynamics. They're sacrificing like it's the old days,
but meanwhile the aircraft have gotten more spacious. AND, as far as
the animal rights types are concerned, did it ever occur to these
people that with aircraft being ever more dependant on electronic
systems, that it might be okay to sacrifice virtual goats? Why not 100
virtual goats on a computer simulation of a dairy farm? That would be
enough, for sure.

They were lucky.

Wow! There you go... there's the proof that a socially forward
thinking nation can achieve anything. How many other countries have
two whole Boeing aircraft?

Yeah, but my virtual goat sacrifice idea rocks, and it panders
to EVERYBODY, so no one feels left out.
