"Big Bang" goes, of course, to Hubble. The hundred inch mount Wilson

not just of gas and were very much more distant than had previously been
imagined that gave Hubble the clue that the universe is expanding. What

is that the more distant an object, the more its spectrum is shifted

scale) show the same spectrum lines. We associate with the orange card
of the spectrum, a little down towards the red end. More distant objects
show greater shift in general. This correlation is so good, actually,
that we can use it as a predictor of distance, although other methods can
be and have been applied to check it.

Today's spaceborne telescopes, and multi-eyed monsters, give us a much
better view than Hubble had. Observations continue to support the notion
of a universe expanding from a point singularity.

somebody's religion, or even lack of it, have to do with the SCIENCE of
general relativity in the cosmology associated with it? What is the name
of the false God inspired you to use deceptive rhetoric instead of

what is essentially an argumentum ad hominem fallacy. A fallacy is a
trick -- a deception -- false logic made to appear as if true by
appealing to the prejudices of the hearer. And that is what you are
clearly and obviously doing here. If this were the first time you had
been admonished of this, there would be no real foul. But this is about
the fifth time and therefore it is incumbent on me to point out that you
are an excommunicate heretic from all parts of the body of Christ, not
just the Roman part. In short, you have no part in the communion of

If your goal is to achieve hell by lying your way into the place, then

What I can't fathom is why you should feel distressed when people do not
believe in God. I mean, it's pretty obvious YOU do not believe in God.
I mean, if you did, you would least TRY to follow His Commandments.

people really were detracting from worship of Almighty God, they should
be standing in the sidelights clapping her hands and urging them on, not

science, coupled with lies about God, adding the false teaching that it

These teachings are heresy, not because they are opposed to certain
science, but because they are opposed to the Commandments of God. They
teach little children to violate those Commandments in God's name. The

father the devil in hell. Creationists are heretics. There false
religion is heresy. They have no right to have the state support their
false religion or their false gods. And if they attempt to usurp that
right. We the communion of saints, reserve the right to have them

scientific theory shows that you know you have no leg to stand on. If

set up a total strawman, some Roman Catholic priest who happened to be an
astronomer, an attack not the science, but his Catholicism.

Perhaps it is your Protestantism that makes you so dense. I doubt it,
though. I have met many Protestants who were anything but dense. You
must be special. Perhaps you're a devout Satanist pretending to be a
Protestant in order to bring discredit upon all branches of Christianity.
You certainly have many of the stigmata of such a Satanist. On the other
hand, maybe you're just a fool.

Personally I don't care. You're a self-made moron taking political
action to turn our children is a self-made morons like you. You have no
right to do that and any attempt to do that will be circumscribed by the
