Following the link we discover that the entire thing was written by actual

My bet is that you never received a government grant to pursue
research and development of anything. Nor do I believe you even know
about the process.
If you think it's BS, why don't you do a little research on the issue
and promise to stop using anything that was developed with a
government grant? Why don't you try *learning* a little about it
before condemning it?
