Okay, here's the last new thread in the series highlighting Gabriel's
dishonesty, hypocrisy, LIES, cowardice and cluelessness, a series
which would have been entirely unnecessary if Gabriel had found within
himself the decency to engage in a mature and honest exchange on the
topic.
Note before I begin that those responding to this who are
ineffectually trying to support Gabriel's despicable behavior are
ironically guilty of the same defects I'm pointing out in Gabriel's
behavior!
They dishonestly accuse me of attacking Gabriel when I am commenting
on concrete examples of his behavior and supporting my argument.
Not a single one of my detractors is doing that with regard to my
material. They're attacking me directly and insulting me directly.
Now these people are purportedly Christians, who are supposed to go
the extra mile, supposed to give their coat, supposed to turn the
other cheek.
I see no evidence of this.
*That's* what makes them hypocrites. That part makes no difference to
me because I expect this behavior of Christians on Usenet.

B, maybe you should ignore stupid people.
From Gabriels's reply to you, it is clear he wants to deal in this
stuff will all the sophistication of an 8 year old. There is little to
be gained by arguing with people who are willfully ignorant,
especially when they don't even realize they are willfully ignorant. You
might as well try to convince a rock that life exists.
I just started Reading Susan Jacoby's new book, 'The Age of American
Unreason', and though it is a bit of a polemic, it amply demonstrates
that ignorance and disavowelling of science and reason is very much
deliberate. These people revel in it.
If you in the slightest think they will show you any "Christian
tolerance", you are mistaken. They only show that to each other. It is
all very biblical. They see themselves as God's Chosen, and just like
the OT sells, everyone else can be treated as the enemy.
There are Christians who don't behave like like them, who take a wider
view of the world than biblical literalism (selective though the
literalists may be). But like many good Mulsims who aren't about to
raise their voices against Islamists, good Christians do not want to put
themselves in the firing line either.

Gee babbliel, thanks for once more demonstrating what a willful idiot you
are.
You truly never disappoint us.

Morontheist babbliel:

And by the same standards the morontheist defined personally, the existence
of evolutionary processes is... guess what... observable, testable,
verifiable.

True. And no one claims it should be different. Except morontheists in
desperate search of a strawman of the science they cannot fight, that is.
Yup babbliel never disappoints me. Knowing exactly why its claims are
bullshit, it strides forth and repeats those very same claims yet again. It
is to be applauded for its determination to show to all the world what a
total moron it is! *grin*

You make three claims above; the first two are admirably precise: we
observe atoms and gravity by observing, in the present time, what they
are responsible for. But in the same respect, we observe evolution
and common descent in the present time. This is true, on a small
scale, in events that actually happen during historical time: the ...

And why would one expect *that*? That's always been what they say,
rather than what they do. Judged on claims, they're damn-near perfect.
Judged on actions, well, let's just say there's a few hardened criminals
I'd be more likely to trust than the average Christian.
