I had a crisis a year ago. A motorcycle accident. I didn't bother
praying, in fact it was the furthest thing from my mind. I just fell
off and slid down the freeway. I survived, with just a few bruises
and abrasions. Good motorcycle gear saved me from anything worse, not
gods. In fact, I would think that a god, if it was in control of
these things, would make sure an atheist would end up in much worse
condition, even dead. Instead, it's obvious that gods don't intervene
in human afffairs, not even if people pray their asses off.
