My original argument with Timmy (and his chums) concerned a Fundy's
claim that, if the Earth ever stopped rotating, that we'd all fly off. I
pointed out that mass, not spinning, accounted for gravity.

(Pasture Timmy)
Jus to be clear... none of the 7 of us in the other groop who disagrees
wit Ken Dine about whether the moon rotates on its internal axis or
not... ever made any such silly clame that gravity is caused by
"rotaton"... an the 1 person who did make that clame is a nut-job who
thanks she is an "Angel" on earf... lol... an she has never been a part
of the debate of whether the moon rotates on its internal axis or
not.!!!

(Ken Dine)
Another poster gave the moon as an example of an astronomical body that
has stopped rotating and still has gravity due to its mass,

(Pasture Timmy)
I dont know who you are talkin about... but the 7 of us (in the other
goop) who have disagreed wit you... has said that the moon does rotate
on its internal axis 1 time per orbit.!!!

(Ken Dine)
when another fundy poster called us idiots by throwing in the
red-herring claim that the moon rotates on its axis once every 27.3
days.

(Pasture Timmy)
Only 1 of us who has been a part of the discusson about the moons
rotaton is a fundimentalist... an yes... i thank it was that fundy who
firs said that the moon rotates on its axis... an later on... 6 of us
atheist/agnostic types agreed wit him... cause it dont mater who said
it... if its true its true... an the moon does rotate on its internla
axis 1 time per orbit... an its a "true" rotaton... jus like the
rotatons the earf makes on its internal axis are "true" rotatons.!!!
