Now pissed off "Muslims" bomb over cartoons.
But remember the Beatle bonfires
after Lennon said "We're bigger than Jesus..."
back in the year of Nineteen Hundred
and Sixty Six.....?
And there IS a straight line to December
Eighth. They sat around and sang
"Imagine no John Lennon..."
And they were proud to be called "Christians".
And those bombers back in Birmingham,
they called themselves "Christians" too:
Klu Klux Kristians. I don’t think John Lennon
ever called himself a "Christian".
John just wanted to hold your hand,
he didn’t want to go all the way.
Well, well, well.....
How'd that swan song go?
"Forgive them Father for they know not..."

That's what a lot of people called the "founding fathers"
of the modern state of Israel. What else (if you were a
Brit. stationed in Palestine) would you have called
them?

Terrorists?

The answer to, and winner (if any) for, our last contest question of:

Igor Stravinksy said, "I look forward to a work of major length from
this composer." Yet he hated this composer's work. Explain the comment
and who it was about.

IS
It's about John Cage and his 'music' piece "Four Minutes and Thirty-
three Seconds from 1952. For this piece the musicians onstage stay
silent for four minutes and thirty three seconds. So Igor is zinging
Cage here.

I had no correct eligible answers. All I got was...silence for more
than four minutes and thirty three seconds.

I don't dumb DOWN, so wise UP.

In a writhing pit misquotes as big as oil drums mate with billions
of man-sized maggots. A pampered petrol official holds his nose
and obsequiously whines “I want my life back.”

An oil soaked pelican drowning in the red and brown tide silently
nods “Me too.”

On a black background a white text teases "Who's to blame?"
On the next page there's a mirror.
