I don't think there's a cure for suicide. Yet.
But anyway, why should anyone else have a say in whether someone decides to
end their life?
I'll presume for this instance jumping off the bridge in question harms no
one else.
One of the links provided proof that if the barrier is installed on the
bridge, where harm is not done to others, the suicidist will do his/her deed
elsewhere and perhaps others will be harmed in the process.
(if a person jumps off a high building in an effort to kill theirself, but
instead lands on another person and kills them, but the suicidist lives,
will he be charged with murder?)

Better:
ATTENTION JUMPERS
---------------------------
If You Abandon A Vehicle On The Bridge
And Proceed to Jump Off
The Taxpayer Will Be Charged
A Towing Fee and "Clean-up" Charge Of
$100,000.00
Fine print:
Taxpayers who do not vote are exempt

I agree as long as we don't have much to clean up afterward... but then,
maybe that's part of the last-wish thing.
Maybe your Suicentres idea can be adapted.

Why not? I imagine that's already happened.
