I doubt if anything is safe - especially in Scotland. Being at the `edge`
of Europe isn't helpful when it comes to cost analysis.

And totally impossible. PIK's terminal infrastructure cannot cope with the
flights it has just now. The only way easyJet could move there is with the
construction of a new terminal for them. That isn't going to happen. Fuel
costs are highly unlikely to be offset by letting easyJet fly from PIK for
next to nothing like RYR at PIK or hugely discounted prices at EDI.

Perhaps easyjet will seel a deal with EDI..it is of course it's
currently busiest Scottish airport.?

That is until a Middle East direct route from Scotland gets challenged
from EDI? That will put the cat among the pigeons?

Indeed it is - but reduction is the only likely scenario - their figures
from EDI would be no different from GLA. Is EDI easyJet's busiest Scottish
airport?

Very likely given the crash-dive of popularity of routes from
Abbotsinch? EDI being confirmed as Scotland's most
convenient/accessible airport at every official release of figures.

The overall reading on the famous 'Swingometer' is a swing to
Edinburgh of 691k, give or take 100, or an average swing of over 57k
per calendar month.

Aficionados of BAA/CAA figures know this only too well..no doubt
Airlines and Tour Operators have also taking note.

And they DIDN'T routes from GLA when EDI was in nosedive?

You were bleating for years when GLA figures were rocketing and EDI's were
in nosedive in comparison.

I have a fairly new laptop. New usenet client install - no kill-file and a
a welcome `attempt` at starting afresh.

I appreciate the annoyance that might cause (you have done EXACTLY yourself
Clive) and despite the protests I have made my own mind up.

Kill-file restored. Apologies for reintroducing such a disgrace to your
usenet client.

What is it with you guys? You complain about Abbotsinch being used
instead of GLA and you complain when it is..
