"Mr Monteith: I want to present some information that was made
available to the committee but is not in the body of the committee's
report. Falkirk, West Lothian, Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian,
Scottish Borders, Stirling, Clackmannanshire, Perth and Kinross,
Dundee, Angus and Aberdeen those towns, cities and regions provide
some 40 per cent of the passengers who fly in and out of Glasgow
airport."

They are ....
In the January to August period of 2007 EDI recorded 541,723 more
scheduled international passengers than Abbotsinch but 1,045,416 fewer
charter passengers.
In the same period of 2008 EDI increased its scheduled international
lead by 180,643 passengers whilst reducing the Abbotsinch charter lead
by 141,552 passengers.
The mean monthly net international gain over Abbotsinch was 40,274.
Happy now?

Mind answering the question? Every response you make not answering
that question will have this reply-response repeated ad nauseum until
an answer is furnished for the group.
