I worked for FEMA in New Orleans from October 2005 until January 2006,
and spent about 1 month hooking up electric and water and waste lines
for some of the infamous formadehyde trailers. After a few hours all
of us working with those trailers got migraines got that headachy
buring nose feeling, and since I have worked in construction, I
remember that smell when they swiched from plywood to particleboard
for roof substrate in the early 1980s. A recent medical exam showed
low red blood cells, and I was given advice for an over the counter
supplement called Slow-FE. I am 61 and always been in good health.
Have there been any cases of health effects from FEMA people setting
these trailers up?
