Egad! Lucky break for that family. If'n crazy people with knives don't
getcha, Mother Nature will.
I've watched what little I can of the Olympics, odd moments here and there
... enough of women's gymnastics to want to count the teeth of those Chinese
girls. 16 y/o, c'mon. I am not so jingoistic that I can't stand it when
another country wins, but I do want everything to be fair. Those little
immature bodies are more lithe, easier to bend than a woman's body.
Anyway, I root for the best ones to win, and feel sorry for the ones who
goof up. They have all worked so hard and lived for this moment. Even the 12
y/o Chinese gymnasts who were taken from their family at the age of 3....

As I've heard say recently:
"Gymnastics is a difficult, physically taxing sport. If little kids
can handle that, why don't we train 'em to work in coal mines and
mills??"

Steroids, drugs, that sort of thing I expect.

I suppose that those feet must help somewhat in propelling himself
along. There again, big feet are supposed to be a sign of being big,
er, elsewhere, and that could cause a bit of drag...

Well if they will go loitering on top of the highest structure for miles
around in the midlle of a storm...oh no - sheltered in a tower...probably
why they weren't fried completely

I hope not, he sure doesn't have that certain steroid-y bulked-up look that
the weightlifters and baseball players have. Also, the Olympic Committee has
to be extra diligent to make sure the steroid and drug hoopla doesn't happen
again ... they test everyone before and after the races. Phelps even agreed
to additional testing just so he could prove he's clean.....
