Oooh, that reminds me. Must have some cookies available for the
muggers. Sorry, I mean extortion merchants. No, it's not extortion,
it's robbery with menaces.
We've done a "vomiting pumpkin" lantern this year, and very good it
looks too.

Never mind, Baz. It'll warm up in a few months.
It snowed in the surrounding hills on Saturday. Hail here. And it was
36C a couple of weeks ago.

Soon be on your skis!
Let us know when you're out there, they've got webcams at strategic
locations and you could maybe give us a wave?
Best of Luck - Mike

Our local hoodlums have been penny-for-the-guying for a couple of
weeks now. When I tell them that it's "too early", they retort "'s
not!", but IMO they are. Especially when they hold out Halloween
plastic collecting pots for the cash. Grrrr. Harrumph etc.

No snow here yet, but we've had high winds the past few days. It managed to
be sunny and warn (enough) for pumpkin festival last week. As soon as that
was over we got rain and wind and the promise of snow.

I don't expect any, as the front door to the building is always locked so
they cant come in and trick or treat here.
