Ben mentioned Google Earth in another post and seeing as the software
has become so popular I wondered if it was time to start another 'Who's
Where' thread that we had many years ago.
If those that have it post their co-ordinates we could stick pins in our
respective globes to represent all the caff regulars. Might turn out to
be a bit of fun.
To start the ball rolling Karen and I can be found at 42°02'30" N x
82°44'25" W.
Who's next?

Only a semi-regular, but what the heck...
I'm residing at 52 31' 48.40"N by 113 35' 12.62"W (damned if I know how
to make the degree thingie)
but..tomorrow I'll be driving to (approximately) 49 10' 58.23"N by 119
33' 08.19"W for my daughter's wedding this coming Saturday.

On a PC you hold down the key while hitting 0176 on the number
pad, damned if I can remember what to do on a Mac though and I spent
several years sitting in front of one for 9.5 hours a day!

Hmmm....are you sure about that first number Mudz? 52° puts you about 30
miles south of the start of the snowy pictures on my version. 53° puts
you in the top third of the snow area and I can see some uncleared walks
;-) .

OK, there are a couple of circles round there. I can see a tramway or
something at a crossroads where it crosses the expressway. Is that it?

That looks nice! Looks like a shared back yard so you don't have to do
the gardening, too!

I'm at 53° 23' 29.55" N, 1° 30' 22.4" W. Well in fact that's not my
actual house, but I would rather not be more specific if you don't
mind. Nearby you can see the recreation ground/park, with its crown
bowling green, children's playground, and, further down the hill, a
BMX bike track. At the end of the road, the bus to town is waiting at
the route terminus, and you can see another one coming up the hill to
replace it. If you enable and increase the "elevation exaggeration",
you will see that we get quite a nice view from up here. If it wasn't
for the houses in between, that is...
About a mile to the North is the Hillsborough home of Sheffield
Wednesday Football Club (the rectangular one, not the oval speedway
and dog track).

Ditto, I'm in the area of 55° 33' 29" N, 4° 38' 27" W. Yes that's a
golf course just to the west.
