Duo tackles falls in pool
Keene State student hospitalized after stunt in Ashuelot Park

Police said two Keene State College freshmen may face criminal charges after
trying to boat over the Ashuelot River Park falls in an inflatable kiddie
pool - a stunt that landed one of them in the hospital Friday night.
Alex R. Perry, a 19-year-old from Westborough, Mass., was trapped under the
falls for at least 10 minutes, according to one witness, in what the Keene
Fire Department called in a news release a "deadly churning current."
After being rescued, Perry was taken to Cheshire Medical
Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene to be treated for exhaustion and
hypothermia.
He was listed in satisfactory condition Friday night, according to hospital
officials.
