Hi folks,
As some of you may know Karen and I build and fly large kites and we have been
honoured by having one of our kites nominated for the 'Kite of the Year' award
for 2006 at the
Kitebuilder.com forum!
I made a step-by-step build log of the entire process that ran to a total of 21
pages and has received more than 6,000 views to date and can be seen here....

We are up against 11 other kites for the title and voting ends on January 30 so
it is going to be interesting to see how we fair. Voting (and viewing the other
nominees) is restricted to forum members only I'm afraid so you would need to
register with the forum in order to do that (it is free to register).
If you do decide to register the nomination page can be viewed here....

... and it contains the reasoning behind each kite's nomination. The voting
instructions and a round up of all the kites is on this page....

I hope you enjoy looking at this rather different form of sewn materials ;-) .
