Officially, since a few years back, the UK single-phase mains voltage is
now 230V (1), within a tolerance of (AFAIR) plus or minus 7%%.
Thus the official UK 3-phase voltage is now 400V
(1) Jolly old EU standards convergence. However, previously the
allowable tolerance was plus or minus 5%% but rarely went more than a
volt or two either way. The permitted tolerance was increased to 7%% so
that the UK voltage wouldn't need actually to be reduced at the time of
the change.
