Just got back from my latest adventure from Plymouth to Falmouth including
Fowey and St Mawes.Whilst the rest of the UK was apparently baking, we had
rain, sea mists and too little wind. Still the company was good and Sunday
p.m. we managed to drop the hook close to the start line for the Transat
Race when there were only light breezes but sunshine. Interesting usual sort
of start with one guy totally down the pan and another taking a contrary
approach to the others.Having checked in the floating plastic caravan late
this evening (Bavaria 44), bombed up the motorway to the Midderlands and now
winding down with a distinct sun induced glow. Blast, work too soon!
