I am still reading this fellows ride report. It's taking a long time
because I've only been able to spend 30 or so minutes a day, and I'm
pretty much reading the WHOLE thing, including his many links.
Regardless, it is exactly the type of thing I was looking for....this
guy has really struck a chord with me...it's the most enjoyable article
on this topic that I've ever read, and he has a great selection of
photos. Being the sentimental fool I am, I felt a tug at the old heart
strings when I hit the half way point of page 17, and on through to the
end of page 19...basically his Seattle to Calgary leg. I've driven
those roads many times...some more than others, and as long as 3
decades ago.

So, I salute you, kind sir......for bringing this to my attention.

PS: if anyone out there has been considering buying a 4 door Jeep
Wrangler....go for it! I've only had mine since last Friday...but I've
already decided it's the most functional vehicle I've ever owned. The
interior space and the visibility are amazing (there's a lot of glass
in this baby), and all in a package that's about the same length as my
econo-box Cavalier.
