I've been lurking for ages (cos I've had nothin to say) and have recently
been offline for a few days. There has been a fault on our telephone line
which resulted in us having no landline since last Tues night, and no
internet access since the early hours of Saturday morning. :-( It is now
Tuesday, and earlier today we took our new laptop out to a local coffee shop
that offers wi-fi so that we could do a few things online that had to be
done (including online tracking of the fault. BT website said prob was at
the local exchange and they were jbexing to fix it). As soon as we got home
we realised that landline and 'broadband' (which is only half a gig at most,
cos we are 3 miles from the exchange, but is still quicker than dial-up)
were jbexing again. Yay!!!! jammyface does...
