I think I lost a day or two when I started to read it. Compelling.
You could head south and establish a base somewhere in Colorado. Then
do some short trips. One word of warning: the town of Greeley,
Colorado, was surrounded by cattle feed lots when I was there many
years ago. 300,000 cattle make a lot of poop. It doesn't matter which
way the wind blows, you smell it.
The Rocky Mountain National Park (west of Loveland) was an interesting
drive.
