You're not wrong there on both counts. I felt like I'd been dreaming
and woken up in the middle of it, you know that kind of "What? Where?
Who? Oh." feeling you get when you don't, for a split second, even
know who you are? I even feel I can almost remember the dream, but
not quite, just a feeling.

Anyway, my very first anaesthetic was about 27 years ago and it was
awful. I felt dreadful and took hours and hours to come round.

Yebbut it's bunged me up something terrible. Now I have tummy pains
to deal with. :-( Tried to manage without any pain control today and
got to about midday and had to cave in. I could have managed if I'd
stayed in bed and not moved at all, but I'm not the type. I mean,
it's not like I'm putting strain on my boob to move around and do
housework and stuff.

Well, he made dinner for me last night, but left me all the dishes and
the kitchen to clean when I got up this morning. :-/ Other than that
he's not doing anything. Still, he's trying (very). :-)
