on *really*? Have I changed so much since we last met (at Tring many
moons ago)?
I've been playing on the 'fame' at work all morning - comments to my
boss like 'I'm bored with this. I'm going to my trailer. Have three
puppies - 3 months old and jet black only - and 1/2lb of BP sent out to
me'. Others at work are boycotting any mention of it since they see our
success as a team effort. Natch, its only me and Jeff that are making
*real* savings there ;o)

Indeed. As such things nearly always are. What interests me is how you
managed to balance on those bikes while they took the picture.

I haven't the hardware to offer a scan of the paper; mebbe Geep could
provide that somehow?
Essentially, my sorting office has been the top performing small office
for the last seven months, so the company newspaper did a little piece
about us and used a pic of me and a colleague (the beardie weirdies)
heading off on our bikes. The caption says we're off on our delivery,
yet there was no mail on the bikes at all - the whole thing was, of
course, staged.

It is, yes - quite a big beard AIH. I had to trim it for NY, otherwise
Vee wouldn't have given me a minutes peace. I'm fairly sure I've had a
beard for as long as you've known me, since I first grew it back in my
mid-teens and have rarely been without it since

Well, yes, I think you did - but very, very short, with hair to match.
The only old photo of you I could find is a back view, which isn't very
helpful :-)
