Eeeek! I'm sorry, Baz. :( We here in Minnesoda suffered a brown
Chrimbo. Although I hear we might have a white New Years. I don't mind
snow if I don't have to drive in it. I don't even mind driving in it
if it weren't for all the *other* people driving in it. :)
I hope you get plowed out soon. Or maybe I should hope you just get
plowed. Happy New Ears!

Snow is for skiing on. Any other use is not recommended.
Manifestations of snow in other than ski areas should be discouraged.
Victoria's (ours, not yours) biggest ski resort, Mt Buller, was
threatened by bushfires last week. The access road was closed as
burning trees fell across it. The volunteer fire brigade was getting
ready to use the snow-making guns to fight the fire, when, you guessed
it, they got some of the natural stuff.
Hey, ski.com.au reports that Big White has exceeded 1.6 metres. Bliss.
And my doc has chosen to go to Japan this year.

You'll never catch me on a toboggan. Too bloody dangerous. I'm quite
happy about jumping off cornices (or maybe that's "going over"
cornices these days), but toboggans are not safe.
