More Curried Breakfasts...

... or perhaps not.

I'm back in the land of curries once more. No, I don't mean somewhere in
England north of Watford.

This time I'm in a real hotel so I have a bit more choice of breakfasts,
no FEB though. The omelettes are not bad at all and are freshly made
when you order. Scrambled eggs are also normally freshly made, but I was
less impressed with that. The bacon is called crispy but, IMHO, is
closer to being rubbery, something I've never come across with bacon.
The only sausages are chicken sausages and they are really not very
good. Oh, and the bread is generally pretty bad.

Abbots Langley is only a couple of miles North of Watford and, taking
into consideration that there are 4 Indian restaurants there in just a
couple of hundred yards of high street, would that qualify as the land
of curries?

Learnt any good Hindi swearwords yet?

Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are
putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.

I'm a southerner, so anything north of Watford is North to me ;-)

No, nor any other words. I'm no good at learning languages.

Cricket does not interest me so I've not gone out of my way to watch it.
I just saw a little in the hotel bar on a couple of evenings.
