As I can't abide most of US TV, I have a wide and varied selections of
tunes.
I decide what I'm in the mood for out of the categories I've set up, and
tonight was 'Country'. I know, I know - but it grows on you, specially
if you've lived in rural.. 'Where the blacktop ends" has a resonance, as
does 'The Walmart car Park Social Club' as I've seen these things.
Unfortunately a lot of the songs are sad.
One of them is titled 'Long Goodbye'.
It is *so* sad. Sniff.
Anyone have a specially *Sad* song?
For no particular reason.

Hell, almost anything by Harry Chapin. I like his stuff, but after
listening to one side of an album I'm too depressed to continue and
need some Blues to cheer me up.

Great stuff.
>Bobby Goldsboro - Honey
Ick!
>Buddy Holley - Raining in my heart
Nice!

Indeed. When, in the age of the ipod and CD, did anyone last
refer to listening to one side of an album? I understand, but I bet a
whole generation has grown up who wouldn't have a clue what that meant.
I had in mind Cats in the cradle, but couldn't bring the title to mind.
