The really paradoxical thing about this is that when I've had other
surgeries where they knocked me out completely, I've awakened in extreme
pain and suffered from said pain for a fairly lengthy period of time. This
was totally pain free. Both my parents have had their eyes done and I
thought they were lying to me about the painless part.
