According to wiki, 2 DD members did put their money in: Peter Jones and
Richard Farleigh.
And it says Sainsburys (the first supermarket chain to agree to stock
it) estimated annual demand would be 50,000 bottles. Actual demand was
40-50,000 bottles a *week*
So yes, whoever she was, she made excellent sauce :)
