Weird - I test drove one a few years ago (previous model, I think) and
it accelerated quicker that the standard Celica. That said, if you
want to accelerate / drive in a brisk fashion, Top Gear proved the BMW
M3 is more economical! ;o)

In any case, as Bear's already pointed out, the environmental cost of
the Prius over its lifetime is higher than that of conventional cars.

JJ - will stick with Elise, 7 and [bike TBC], thanks.
