You can buy little radio transmitter/iPod-dock-fitting gizmos (1) that
just take their power from the car's cigarette lighter socket. Just
devise a method of mounting the iPod on the dash, plug the gizmo into
the lighter socket and the iPod. Tune the radio & voila. Keeps the iPod
battery charged too.
(1) Belkin and several other companies make 'em.
