Here's one that isn't. I hate the stuff wether it's green or white.
Mother used to make the stuff and I *had* to eat it.

I visited the farmers market this morning and bought some for B. I
bought artichokes for me.

Globe artichokes are my No. 2 fave :)
Basically, if a thing can be used as a hollandaise delivery system, I'm
in.

When I were a youf ...
We were tormented with insanely-overcooked asparagus. But once't when I
were old enough to visit at a paramour's house, his mum fed us asparagus.
<"Yeeeeuch!"> thought I, <"but I must be gracious ... "> And I tasted
the tiniest possible bit ...
And it tasted wonderful!!!!!
SimonP adds: when I was in Russelsheim they tried to impress me with
how much more wonderful 'white' asparagus was. I thought, "Lame'o ... "
Odd whose mum's cooking could ruin the best of asparagus
else> but now considers the cook ... unless it's mustard. I'd rather be
hungry than taste mustard no matter who the cook ...

I'm not saying it's the best, or even the most authentic. I just really
like it :)

We've managed to find 3 shit places so far since the good one was
'redeveloped'. We have a line of another which we will investigate
soonish.
