my original reply was to throw them at the neighbors that run their
lawnmower at 6 am on a sunday, but as
someone mentioned making mayo, here's a recipe i've used before:

1 cup of a decent vegetable oil, safflower works but the mayo doesn't taste
quite "right" to me.
2 egg yolks
2 tablespoons of lemon juice

beat the egg yolks until slightly thick. drizzle in 1/3 of the cup of oil
very slowly while continuing to beat the egg yolks. add some of the lemon
juice and keep beating. start drizzling in 1/3 cup of the oil while
continuing to beat the mixture. add in more of the lemon juice and then add
drizzle in the rest of the oil and lemon juice. beat until the mayo is
smooth and quite think. if it has lumps in it, it needs more beating. you
can taste and season with salt and pepper if needed. it should keep for a
week or 10 days if tightly covered up.

Also, if you use a whizzer, you don't need to mess about pouring the
oil in slowly. I'm not going to say "drizzle".

Heh...is drizzle a word like willie and fannie? I imagine your laughter over
there when we make movies called "Free Willie"...and go on about our "Fannie
Mae"* floundering mortgage companies.*

That's okay...whizzer over here has to do with urination.

Heh. I think Ben just means he is not going to use a word associated
with pretentious chefs :-)

Fannie Mae is great :-)

I remember getting into trouble here, when I said hey ho ...

"Drizzle" is a word used by such people as celebrity chefs when they
pour (for instance) small quantities of (say) extra virgin olive oil
all over their (just for the sake of argument) ciabatta bread. When I
want to pour a small quantity of runny stuff on my food, I merely pour
a small quantity. I do *not* "drizzle". So no, "drizzle" isn't quite a
word like fanny or willy.

Blimey, so it is. I had forgotten for a moment.

'Who the heck?' The names reminded me of an ice dance routine. I had to look
them up. Oh, I do so love the w w web.

Is an excellent site. It gives a jolly good idea of what cartoonists are
moaning about, anyway.
