Mayo rocks, as does Delia's proper Marie Rose sauce.
I once saw an amazing Anton Mosimann recipe that required something ITRO
48 egg yolks, several packets of amaretti biscuits, half a bottle of
amaretto, etc, but I only saw it the once on TV. Sort of like a turbo
almond sponge pudding.
Looked amazing, but did suggest your heart would explode from your chest
if you so much as looked at it :)
