People really exist that don't like quiche ? Weird.....
My nan's homemade bacon / hot & spicy pepperami / cheese / onion & tomato
quiche is a legend in these parts.

I am pretty good at quich myself, having learned it at my mother's
knee. We called it "bacon and egg flan" then, though.

Yeah, we call it quiche most times, unless Mr Lisa's dad is within
hearing distance, in which case we call it bacon and egg flan. This
is because he apparently doesn't like quiche on account of the fact
that he doesn't like "that foreign muck" but will nom into my flan
like there's no tomorrow.

Heh. Yes, indeed. Bacon and egg flan was a staple food in our house,
with any combination of whatever was in the cupboard, I think. Bacon,
sausages, eggs, cheese, on!ons, tomatoes etc. Could be served with
chips and beans, or salad, baked potato or whatever was going, really.
Salad. Another food that seems to have evolved over time. Salad in our
house was lettuce, tomato, cucumber (yuk!), sliced hard boiled eggs and
spring on!ons if we were lucky. Oh, and a good dollop of Heinz salad
cream, which I now find disgusting, but enjoyed then. Just remembered
radishes, too. Didn't like them, either. Beetroot. Never been keen on
that.

I've heard it said that you can make one whilst trionked and eat it
without remembering a thing :-)
