I believe they are talking about something known as food.
Apparently it comes in a variety of packages, textures and flavour
components and mostly does not require a glass to contain it.
Sadly all experiments on drinking panini have apparently resulted in
choking and further experimentation has been abandoned.
PS. The trans-pondian correspondent apparently believes that the lumpy
stuff known as food was lacking in flavour in the UK as long ago as a few
centuries. This of course is as true as the information that the
trans-pondians all eat grease and gristle patties in imitation bread for
every meal.
