Despite the volunteer sheet that was pinned up over a month ago, I see
that no one has offered to do either kitchen or serving-on duty.
Snowie might leap to the opportunity, but we need an additional
volunteer that has experience with a hosepipe (and other aspects of
First Aid).
Bear could fill-in, but would folk understand the franglais?
Halla - well possibly Christmas Day and Boxing Day, but no cover for Hog
Chasing.
Zol, Baz? I've seen no comments!
Moley? Nah, too busy playing with Mini the Minx/ Trotter's commercial
vehicle or grounding the boat somewhere!
Me? I'm off to a westerly extremity of the mainland over the Yuletide
period seeing octogenarians that I see too infrequently.

I will be around to translate...at least when I'm not out to the shed to
tend to Erminturde, Donkey Hote and the Anteaters. It's my job, you see, to
dump sugar around so they don't bother the patrons of the caff too much.
There's always plenty of sugar to dump during Puevfgznf.

Does no one look at notices on the fridge door these days?
Thanks for the replies. It would seem that we could supply a skeleton
service over the Christmas period. I suggest that we just put FEBs on
the menu.
Zol, thanks, your assistance will be gratefully appreciated, I'm sure.
Moley, I'm afraid the Elfin Safety crew won't allow the changing of
engine oil in the kitchen but since we don't use the scullery any more -
would that be OK for your use?
Could you ensure that LilPeach puts out the carrots that I've left in
the fridge for Rudolph?
Halla - I take it that you are out from forming part of the skeleton
crew? I did appreciate that Hogmanay was out of the question ( Hog
Chasing - sorry I was tired and could not think of anything else at the
time!), but any chance of popping in prior to Dec 31st.?
Baz - Hmm! I'm not sure what folk will make of the outfit but do help
out!
