That's a bit of an overstatement since most of this preppy stuff is just
sold with the store's name on it eg. Brooks Brothers etc Lippschitz aka
Lauren just copied it and in fact he worked for Brooks as a young man
selling ties. But the actual "designer" was just an employee like the tailor
and was anoymous and the clothes were made by contractors.
It takes real Hutzpah, crassness and lack of taste to put your name and logo
on something and market it as if it's some new invention lol The polo shirt
and more specifically Lacoste were around before Lippschitz (Lauren) was
born lol I have nothing against Lippshitz but we all know he's never done
anything new and it's all smoke and mirrors much like Starbuck's coffee and
bottled (unhealthy) water
I don't have anything against jews either who want to emulate their betters
but just find it amusing when I think that their grandparents looked like
characters out of Fiddler on the Roof lol
