Pontiac Firebird.

The car(s) in question later became part of a famous law suit.

Hummer Limo? Filling its tank would prevent you adventuring out on the
Ocean during the rough period! What about a Metropolitan? Failing that,
a beetle convertible, (the real one I mean)?

firebird. before the days of the leaky t-top and the chicken sticker on the
hood.

i don't recommend the pt cruiser or the scion boxy wagon. the pt cruiser is
a noisy and echo-y car. has power but rather noisy inside. the scion has a
lot of head and legroom, but underpowered.

zol---looking at little trucks again

It's not really about 'need'.

We have the SAAB, the Minx, The Wagoneer, The Reliant (cough) and the
F100. Oh, and a '69 Vespa.

I just feel the urge to buy something american, huge and totally
non-green.

It's a man - thing!

I think you should go for a 1972 Monte Carlo. Then get yourself a big
velvet Pimpin' Hat and leopard coat. YKIMS! ;-)
