I know this is going to sound weird, but I *despise* "record-breaking"
attempts like that ...

What's the point? No-one person (or indeed any group short of several
coach-loads) is ever going to eat it, it'll go to waste, whatever they
say, it's just a dumb stunt, and in a world where millions starve every
day I think it's just abhorrently wasteful and pointless. Anyone who
can be arsed to buy 62kg of cheap mince tomorrow can "beat" it, although
you'd have to ask what else they'd do as a substitute for a life.

Probably just me being weird though. Sorry.

they're looking for quick stuff, which pizza can be. but the prevailing
opinion (not mine) was that it took too long to cook, and we would only be
able to offer cheese pizza, no meat or veggies or anything else.

Argh. There's eff-all meat on a chicken wing for a start (I mean, ever
seen one trying to fly), but for the last decade I've been so turned off
by factory battery chicken meat I just buy fre range these days.

Apart from the better taste (which is of less importance in a spicy
sauce, granted), the texture is way better. And as the birds are much
bigger, as they live longer, yes you pay more, but you get substantially
more meat as well.

the pulled pork is cooked for us by charcoal charlie, our maintenence man.
he cooks off a pork butt, portions it out in vacuum pack bags, and all we
haveto do it mix it with some bbq sauce, heat it in the microwave for 2
minutes, put it on a bun and serve it.
