A friend of mine is a 'Forensic Archaeologist' and also Chairman of the
Nelson Society.

I used to drink with him, and others, at a pub in Great Missenden.

Well, he's been invited to lecture on P&O cruises, and another friend (a
Defence Solicitor) went with him as his 'assistant'. They are currently
out there somewhere. This Assistant has written a daily log of his
experiences and I wondered if you'd all like to read it? It has its
moments because he's a curmudgeonly old goat, plus he had cancer of the
jaw, cleared it out, had reconstructive surgery and is back at his job
(well, his outlook on life has changed) but he writes well and I found
it highly amusing.
