If some of you are jonesing for IRC and group chatting, Gmail offers
"Group" chat . Might be worth looking into. You'd need a Gmail account
with chat enabled and be added to each other's address book etc.

I'm on gmail. Good idea. Erminturd wouldn't be there, but it would be
a lot easier to log on.

Okay so you organize it because I'm never home early enough on Fridays
to catch many of the Across Ponders.

Well, OK. You have to remember, though, that I g out for a drink on
Friday afternoons, so I am likely to be quite squiffy by Friday night.

I haven't got gmail.
I suppose it's yet another thing I'll have to sign up to, then.
