my faithful feline companion Marlowe passed away early this morning.
he was 18 years old. i had him for 15 years. he was the best cat anyone
could ever ask for.
he liked every food in the name of this group. except tea. he preferred
milk or water.
he even liked marmite.

Oh that's a shame :(
Still, 18 is a good innings for a cat ... and it sounds like he had a
happy life with you.
(good name for a cat too, that)

Oh Zol I am so sorry to hear your sad news 18 years is a long time for a cat
to share his world with you, and yes indeed he did have a happy life with
you and brought you immense joy too. {{{hugs}}} maybe in time a cat from

Commiserations, I know what it's like to lose a long-time feline friend -
ours were 19 and 20 when they went to that big comfy settee in the sky, and
they left huge cat-sized holes in our lives.

Hateful, isn't it. I spent 9 months without a cat when my last one
died (she was 16, I'd had her for 13 years), when I got the current
pair. I realised then how much I'd missed having a cat around to
annoy me.

Most cats I've looked after have loved marmite.

What a splendid concept.

I'd love a cat, but the flat doesn't allow for pets :(
Plus, with the roads being as busy as they are around here, the moment
it left the flat it'd get squished.
