  What Usenet?

Ha!

I just ran into a situation where I required my Windows 2000 Pro CD for my
beautiful bride's computer.

Oops! Said CD is at work. I have the TechNet versions of all Wintendo
variations since NT 4.

Okay, fine - go onto Usenet and search. Per binsearch.info, there are no
copies.

Go onto piratebay turns out there's a nice .iso file handy. Fire up
KTorrent - which was actually serving openSUSE 11.0 iso file already - and
five minutes later, I've got it.

Didn't need the key text file, just some drivers for an update.

I love resumes!

I got one yesterday in which the guy spewed on for three pages about this
wonderful project he'd completed.

I thought - okay the guy can complete a project. However if he takes three
pages to describe it, then there's a problem.

Next!

Or was it left?

Oh well, it's not much for mattering either way really:
http://www.backwater-productions.net/_images/_Lego/Right_Left_Right.jpg

I did a few more than just two today, but most were simple ones.

On the other side of teh sticker sheet I did yesterday I still need to
add in the railroad track bit and maybe make the inner lines on the
map a bit thicker:
http://www.backwater-productions.net/_images/_Lego/The_Tedium_Flows_Like_A_River...

I'm still not sure exactly how I want to do all this, either releasing
'em as sticker sheets that people can put on their Lego pieces, or
using Water Slide Decals to imprint them directly onto Lego pieces and
then selling those.

...I don't understand...where's the part where you completely rip them
the fuck to pieces? For me that would have been, 'o...after the first
e-mail. I feel a great swell of pity for the poor Indian fuck...

  Ping PR: any damage?

I guess the quake was pretty close to you, I hope nothing got broken.
UCI was hit hard enough that they evacuated all the buildings, but no
damage, it seemed to shake for a long time. All my wussy co-workers hid
under their desks, I just kept on working :-)
