  Export Movie Crash

Author: Matthew Osborne
Date: Aug 8, 2008 12:54

I've got Windows XP Pro and Adobe Premiere CS3. It's a 4 minute clip
that I'd like to export, but whenever I attempt to do so, the program
crashes and asks to send an error report to Microsoft.
It also crashed a bit as I was building the movie.
Error Signature
AppName: adobe premier pro.exe
AppVer: 3.2.0.0
ModName: xvidcore.dll

It is always at a different frame..

I have uninstalled Premiere and reinstalled. I have also tried
replacing that DLL.

Any other suggestions?

Captured video indexes endlessly and is 'media pending'

Author: markyman
Date: Aug 3, 2008 11:48

I'm using PP CS2 on windows and have captured about 7.5GB of video
from tape on a Sony HDR-HC3 in HDV format. As soon as the capture
finishes, obviously it tries to create indexes. However, this
indexing process never finishes and it creates hundreds of files if I
leave it for hours in an attempt to finish the indexing. So, of
course, I can't view the video in PP CS2 because it displays the
'media pending' card instead.

I've seen this on some forums and that its an acknowledged bug in PP
CS2 (and even CS3) but there really aren't any solutions. Is there
more to this and a possible fix or am I dead in the water with PP CS2?

thanks -

  newbie question - rotate WMV

Author: sillyputty
Date: Jul 10, 2008 23:41

I recently got Premiere 7 and can't figure out how to rotate a short
WMV file. The video is loaded into the monitor window and timeline.
I've tried selecting both vertical and horizontal flips in the effect
controls window, but there were no changes to the video. I know I must
be missing something simple, but can't figure out what. Thanks!

  adding a cape in CS2

So I have a video that I am trying to make and I would like to add a
Superman type cape to an individual. Can that be done in Premier?
After Effects? Another program? Any suggestions on the best way to
start?

Thanks,
KJ

  Volume problem

When I try to play a clip (.avi file) I'm getting no sound. If I drag the
pointer across the clip itself at the bottom of the screen, I hear the
audio.

What's wrong?

  Tilted Video

Author: Michael Lee
Date: May 26, 2008 22:58

OK, big mistake. I took a short video of one of our lakes on a trip last
weekend, and I want to make a 30 second video loop for our AV system at
church.

Unfortunately, I used rice bags to rest the camera rather than a tripod,
the result is my video is tilted about 5 degrees.

I am using Premiere Elements version 1, and I cannot find a way to
straighten the image. Does anybody have any suggestions?
