I thought that I would post an update to this thread. I upgraded to Prospect HD with the AJA card bundle. Other than a strange error that I had early on where I could no longer play DV timelines and was subsequently fixed by a reinstall, Prospect HD has worked flawlessly. I can playback all kinds of stuff in RT no problem.

Now on to the AJA card. This has been a lot harder to get working. But I have to say that the people at Cineform worked dillegently with me to get things right. Apparently, I was the only one who was running the AJA card with their OEM drivers on XP64. Once we figured out that the drivers were not XP64 drivers, Cineform quickly created XP64 drivers for the AJA and this got me working.

I still have not done any amount of serious editing in Prospet HD with the AJA yet, but the quallity going to my LCD HD monitor is great when I have it output at maxium quallity. I still have an issue that we are trying to work out and that is with 1080 projects. So far, I have not been able to get any output from them onto my monitor. But Cineform is on the case and I don't have any need to do any 1080 projects right now (just 720p), so I am not bothered too much by this issue. As long as I have my project at 720p, I can output 1080i fine to my monitor, I can use any 1080p ir 1080i source footage and it will output properly in whatever format that I want. But my cineform project must be 720p for the moment. I have every confidence that Cineform will resolve this issue for me however.

I have not captured any HDV footage since I have had the AJA. And since I did not purchase the "ingest" version, I guess that I will need to using the firewire capture outside of AJA anyway. I can say that my AspecHD projects and files work flawlessly when opened after ProspectHD was installed. I did not think to ask before I purchased if there might be an issue, but there was not one.
